Welcome to Built by Oma. By accessing our website or placing an order for our website design services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1. Service Offerings and Scope
We provide custom website design, mobile responsiveness configuration, basic search engine optimization (SEO), Google Business Profile setup, and technical integration services as outlined in our Business Launch Package. The scope of each project is customized based on your business requirements, and any modifications or additions outside the agreed scope may attract additional charges.
2. Payment Terms
- A deposit of 70% of the total project fee is required before we commence any design work.
- The remaining balance of 30% is due and payable upon completion of the website layout and prior to publishing the website live.
- Payments are non-refundable once design and development work has commenced.
3. Client Responsibilities and Content Delivery
To ensure a timely launch, you are responsible for providing all necessary business content, including logos, text descriptions, images, brand preferences, and contact details. Delays in receiving materials from you will extend the completion timeline. We reserve the right to suspend work on projects that are delayed due to missing client content for more than 30 days.
4. Post-Launch Support
Every website designed under our Business Launch Package includes exactly one week of post-launch technical and editing support. This support period starts immediately on the day the website goes live. Support is limited to minor formatting corrections, bug fixes, and general usage queries. Major revisions or new feature requests after launch are outside this scope and will be billed separately.
5. Intellectual Property and Licensing
Upon final payment and launch, ownership of the website custom design code and visual layout is transferred to you. You retain all intellectual property rights to any content, branding materials, and images you provide for the project. Built by Oma reserves the right to display screenshots and links to the completed website in our portfolio and marketing materials.
6. Domain and Hosting Renewals
If your package includes a free domain name and hosting for the first year, it is your responsibility to pay any renewal fees for subsequent years. Built by Oma is not responsible for website downtime or data loss resulting from unpaid domain or hosting renewals after the first year has expired.
